New England Patriots score a touchdown with five seconds left to win a football game in Foxborough.

November 20, 2022

Tied 3-3 and locked in a defensive struggle after 59 minutes, the Patriots beat the New York Jets 10-3 at Gillette Stadium. The team wins when rookie Marcus Jones scores on an 86-yard punt return as his parents watch his first professional game together (Jones’ father is a football coach and until now has not been able to attend his games). Afterwards, Patriots special teams captain Matthew later says, “I’ve never been part of a game like that at any level of football.”
